FAITH
TRUSTING IN GOD
THROUGH HIS WORD

"without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him."
Heb 11:6
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.  If you had known me, you would have known my Father also"
John 14:6,7
"for you will die in your sins unless you believe that I am he."
John 8:24

These three Scriptures lie at the very heart and foundation of the Christian faith.
The Christian faith is all about believing in God through Jesus Christ.
There are other important factors to Christian faith that are of vital importance to Christianity, such as:
The steadfast love of God for his creation
      Man's sinful and lost condition
      God's righteousness and grace
The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus
Man's willingness to submit in obedience to the will of God
The Christian's willingness to be led by the Holy Spirit
And Christian's living a life faithful to God and His calling
But the key to all of these is faith in God through Jesus Christ.

The purpose of these lessons on faith is to
explore the dynamics and depth of the Christian doctrine of FAITH.

In these lessons we will consider several aspects of Faith:
Some of the many important Scriptures discussing Faith
How one comes to Faith or to believe in God and Jesus Christ
How Faith works in the scheme of man's salvation and Christian life
      A Biblical Theology of Faith

We recognize and confess that the study of Christian Faith is a broad, deep, and challenging study!
