WELCOME TO BIBL 205 THE BOOK OF ACTS

This course is an introductory course in the Book of Acts.

The course will begin by looking at the Authorship, Date, Style, Purpose, and Theology of Acts.

The Book of Acts is understood by scholars to be a sequel to the Gospel of Luke in that it takes the story of the salvation in Jesus Christ described by Luke and demonstrates how this is continued in the life of the church.

The course will then examine the text of the Book of Acts in nine lessons.

We recommend that you begin the study by viewing the menu of items in the column to the left.

Then click on Syllabus in the menu column to the left of this page.

Then go to Student Tools and complete the Student Information questionnaire.

Be sure to check the Messages board and the Assignments board regularly.

Then we recommend that you read through the Book of Acts in the Bible with which you are comfortable.
Please do this before you engage Lesson 1 in the Outline.

Please stay in contact with the teacher and send an e-mail regarding any questions you might have during the study.

You will find links to the teacher by e-mail under the section
